Over Christmas Break, my family took a vacation to France. We stayed in a hotel on of the small streets near the center of Paris, which meant that we were within walking distance of all the places we wanted to go sightseeing. We focused on seeing historical monuments and important locations in French history.
We saw monuments like the Arc de Triomphe and the Eiffel Tower, which are two of Paris' most famous features. The Arc de Triomphe was built in 1806. during Napoleon's rule over France. He would ride under the monument on his horse when he returned from a victory. The Eiffel Tower was built in 1887, and was incredibly impressive for the time. Most people back then thought building something like it would be impossible.
Paris was a very beautiful city, and it was filled with great history and beautiful architecture. I took pictures of the best landscapes and best monuments that I saw while I was there. Visiting Paris was a great experience, and I will hopefully go back eventually.
